ABOUT ONGD ALMA COOPERACIÓN

Alma means “soul” in Spanish. We are an NGO, created in 2008, to support any cause, of any kind, either in Spain or abroad. Right now

we support projects in Madrid , India and Peru, and wherever we think we could help according to our possibilities. Alma NEVER

receives any money from the donations we get to pay any salaries or commissions.

Projects in Spain

We are organizing activities in Spain together with other companies to improve local poor’s daylife. We organize and support campaigns, activities and any other event according to our possibilities.

Project in India

We are currently working on a project in India. In few years time we will have a farm, a school and a residence for poor children, an extraordinary opportunity to have an education for them and to help their poor families directly as a consequence of that unexpected education. We already bought the sustainable farm, that will allow future children not to depend on any external help. We will manage

the money that comes out of the crops of that farm to allow children from the poorest areas of India to have an education that would

never ever expected to receive. We want the project to be able to be self sufficient and to be able to develop in a way to help families

and children in the country that has the biggest number of poor people in the WORLD. This is, help future generations in India. Total budget of the project is 200,000 eur.

Project in Peru

Since 2009, we are currently working on a project In Cincha Baja, Peru. An earth wake that happened in 2006 has completely devastated most of Peru’s rural villages. Local authorities have never intended to help any village that has suffered the consequences of such a

natural huge disaster. We are going to re build three villages in Chincha Baja. This is, 80 dwellings for 80 families of local peasants that

lost their home and future after that disaster. Our member s have already worked on site there before, so they have seen their needs

and have learned the experience of working in such a difficult environment. Total budget of the project is 350,000 eur.
